LIVING LEGEND THOM DEVITA
At age 77, Devita no longer tattoos, but still produces amazing, soulful artwork which he will have for sale. Come and meet this legend of New York tattooing. Thom Devita opened his tattoo shop in New York City the day after tattooing was made illegal there in the 1961. He helped Mike Malone get into tattooing, and associated with many of the the great American tattooists of the twentieth century, including Huck Spaulding, Paul Rogers, Zeke Owen, Cliff Raven, Tony Polito, and Ed Hardy.
